What To Do When You're Stopped By Police - The ACLU & Elon James White

Know Anyone Who Thinks Racial Profiling Is Exaggerated? Watch This, And Tell Me When Your Jaw Drops.
This video clearly demonstrates how racist America is as a country and how far we have to go to become a country that is civilized and actually values equal justice. We must not rest until this goal is achieved. I do not want my great grandchildren to live in a country like we have today. I wish for them to live in a country where differences of race and culture are not ignored but valued as a part of what makes America great.

Fox Mangles Data To Claim "The Poor" Are Getting "Richer" | Media Matters for America
Fox News is incredibly biased in it's reporting. They purposely distort the data that clearly shows that there is increasing poverty in America.

Proposed NY ban on anonymous posts comes under fire | Security & Privacy - CNET News
This reminds me of the law when I lived in South Korea. This is I believe unconstitutional. It has a chilling effect on free speech without a compelling state interest to justify it. If there was some immediate, potential harm the government would have more of an argument but still they would have a steep mountain to climb to justify such a draconian move.

Melissa Harris-Perry: Republicans distancing from party fringes on Rev. Wright - Melissa Harris Perry conducts an intelligent discussion concerning the distortion surrounding the prophetic preaching of Reverend Dr. Jeremiah Wright and Black Liberation Theology with her panel. This discussion is a must watch for those who really want to hear what Reverend Wright actually said, which anyone, who has actually read the Bible, would clearly recognize as being central to Biblical teaching.

Monument in Palisades Park, N.J. Memorializing The Sexual Slavery Of Korean Women In World War II, Irritates Japanese Officials - NYTimes.com
Japan needs to face up to it's history of imperialism and human rigjts abuses. It's dastardly crimes against the people of Asia are part of it's past. Unlike Germany, Japan was not forced by the victorious Allies after World War II to atone for it's crimes against humanity. This was largely due to the fear of Japan succumbing to the spreading wave of communism in Asia after Mao Tse Tung's victory in the Chinese Civil War.
The legacy of the forced prostitution of Korean women is real. Japan should be loudly criticized, in the world community, for after sixty years still stubbornly refusing to acknowledge it's past. Acknowledging this history is an important step in preventing such atrocities from occurring in the future.
There are still comfort women alive today. They never received reparations for their forced sexual slavery. Japan, incredulously still maintains that these women volunteered to be serially gang raped by Japanese soldiers. Their legacy of suffering must be memorialized around the world. This must never happen again.

The Psychological Profile of Liberals
"Just by virtue of their ideological stance, liberals can tolerate difference, they can tolerate not knowing, wondering ‘it could be this, it could be that.’ They can tolerate someone saying, ‘you’ve got it wrong.’ Liberals are just more open to all of that. It’s less of a problem, it’s less of a concern. They’re much more open to compromise, more open to experience—what would otherwise be threatening to people would not be as threatening because of their ideological disposition."

Rand Paul: Obama's Views On Marriage Couldn't 'Get Any Gayer' - Rand Paul, the Senator who opposed the 1964 Civil Rights Act of 1964 during his 2010 campaign, loke his father Ron expresses the same bigotry in gay marriage. The racist is almost always a homophobe and a misogynist. The same ignorance informs their mindset.

Melissa Harris-Perry: What Obamas evolution on same-sex marriage means for the country -Melissa Harris Perry deals with the false assumptions expressed in the media that posit that African Americans are some how more homophobic than there white brethren. This of course is nonsense. African American churches have rarely stooped to the science denying ignorance of the dominant cultures evangelical brethren and the plain old fashioned bigotry that underlies their Calvinist theology.
